A 45-60 minute meeting, usually via Zoom, whereby both parties can share information, ask questions, and get to know each other. This is an opportunity to meet me, and decide whether we would work well together.
You have chosen me as your Doula - great! Once the contract is signed, we will book in a face-to-face meeting. Together, we will go through your birth preferences, and sculpt your ideal experience.
Here, we meet for the second time, usually between 30-32 weeks. We continue to discuss preferences and get to know each other even better. You update me on any recent midwife appointments or interactions.
Generally, this is our final meeting before you go into labour. At around 33-36 weeks, we will meet to catch up, and finalise all of your labour and birth preferences. We will tie up any loose ends and get all practicalities ready.
From the moment the contract is signed, I will be available for ongoing email/text/phone support, to answer any questions or talk through any feelings.
My on call period begins 10 days prior to your EDD, until your baby is born. This may vary depending on any additional information you give me (previous early labour, for example)
You will have my full attention and support during the labour process, and I will be with you from active labour until your baby is born, and for 4-6 hours after.
Included in my services is a meeting with you within 6 weeks of the birth of your baby. Here, we catch up, have a debrief if desired, and say our final goodbyes!
If you have chosen a breastfeeding support package, I am on hand to offer this support via face to face or online meetings. I may be able to offer ad-hoc meetings under my basic package, but these will be subject to availability
